Flowers

A quote from my nearest and dearest - "Personally I wouldn't give ya two cents for a photo of flowers". I have to admit I kind of agree with him. Before I got my new camera I felt exactly the same way - however I'm looking at everything differently these days. And it's all practice, practice, practice!

I'm a beginner at this photography thing. Any hints, tips, constructive criticism or comments are welcome and appreciated.

Hmmmm, I like parts of this photo. There's a pleasing luminosity and color to the flowers. I'd like to see it a little sharper and perhaps some better composition? Again, I'll remind everyone that we are friends and you've asked me for critiques.

The light background is nice,it makes the green stand out.did you take more shots from different angles ?

@Anthony Lambert: I did take more shots but it was difficult to get a completely different angle. There was a bench to the left and a window to the right and I would have lost the light background. This wasn't my house, you see.
