@António Pires: Thanks Antonio, and yes it's the kauri tree in my backyard. It was a little tricky to take, I stood on the seat on my deck (very close to the tree) and had my forehead leaning on the trunk as I shot downwards.

I agree with Anthony. Keep them coming ... great shot. The only thing that I would suggest is that you tell us what you have photographed. Is it lichen? Whatever, the photography is good.
