Abandoned

There are a lot of buildings like this scattered about the Taranaki countryside.

I'm a beginner at this photography thing. Any hints, tips, constructive criticism or comments are welcome and appreciated.

The place looks like a story waiting to be told . . always sad to see the empty shell of someone's dreams and aspirations. To be found everywhere but it looks even more sad in that landscape. I like the presentation.

Wonderful shot, I'm really interested it this old stuff, what a history wonder how old it is, maybe one of the pioneers..? The telegraph pole looks completely vertical to me, perhaps this area is on a slope.

I like it. It could be a photo from anywhere you know? I think you may like to take this in different directions in post production to see where you go. You know?

@Henry: Thanks. I thought it might look cool in sepia - tried that, tried black and white conversion too. I wasn't entirely happy with either though. I can't remember why exactly, possibly something to do with the sky being too blown out.
