Listening intently to Grandma and tolerating (barely) the annoying Aunt with the camera
Any hints, tips, constructive criticism or comments are welcome and appreciated.
Sounds like Lauren is being brought up right! Cool shot!

@Craig: Thanks Craig. She's as gorgeous on the inside as she is on the outside, so yeah! Someone's doing something right.
@Mikey: Isn't she though? Thanks Mikey!
It is a lovely, sweet portrait, Margie. One tip: I notice the best portraits have the subject doing something with her hands or making an unusual or telling expression.

@Michael Skorulski: Thanks for that nice comment, Michael. She actually had her chin resting in her hand but my shot was too close to show that to advantage so I cropped it out. Thanks for the advice though!
She would be a patient, long-suffering soul. Ha! Really a nice portrait of this young lady.

@Viewfinder: Thank you!
such a pretty girl! nice b&w. I like how you filled the frame with her face. I also like that you didn't shoot straght on but from the side a bit. Nice job

And thanks for your comments too.

@Scotfot: Thank you. That is quite something coming from you!
Don't let the eyes fool you.She was probably looking at a twenty dollar bill.I bet she has a wonderfull(but poor) father though.

@Henry: Ya think? I kinda like it.
:)
I see you have good taste in cameras. Some of my family members hold their hands in front of their faces or turn their heads away whenever they see the camera. My wife still tries to avoid the camera even after 25 years. My youngest son is nearly impossible to photograph. My oldest son is about the only family member who doesn't fight having his photo taken.
