Great shot Margie love the soft colours and the composition

I would have maybe cropped this in a bit more using the left side of the shot a bit more(but what di I know)
Nice soft blowing in the wind feel to the shot.

@Anthony Lambert: Yeah I see where you're coming from but I kind of liked the sky on the right of the shot. And blowing in the wind is an understatement! So windy! Thanks for the comment, Anthony!
Good color and interesting angle on this shot.

Lovely composition, Margie ... it has such a soothing feel ...

beautiful feeling here -- of fresh wind and wild grasses! and what a wonderful dreamy sky!!

@dj.tigersprout: T'was an exceptionally FRESH wind!
This is a very thought provoking shot, one gets the feeling of the sea over the dune, but without certainty that it's really there. The grasses add to the surreal concept.
Perhaps consider using the smudge tool to get rid of the jet trail ?

@Observing: The jet trail bothered me too Mike, I tried using the clone tool to get rid of it but it looked worse, so l left it in. Will definitely have a go with the smudge tool though. Thanks for the tip!
Lovely image. Simple, uncluttered and good composition and exposure. (I think maybe i would clone out the 'vapour ' trail in the sky)

I admire how your compositions depend on just that: compositional strength. Beautifully composed image and great natural color.

@Luis A. De Jesus R.: Thanks Luis, I always appreciate your visits and comments.
Brilliant contrast. Love all that flax texture; wow. You sure have been taking wonderful shots lately.

@Kelela: Hey thanks!
Masterful, there is texture, contrast and a great sense of rhythmic movement. I can see this as a giant-sized print. Beautifully conceived and executed, bravo. I like when you do things that startle me.

@Henry: I really didn't expect many comments on this post, it was something I liked but...you know...taste is very personal. Thank you very much for the generous, in depth comment. I appreciate it.
I kind of like it when I startle you too. :)
I love New Zealand flax, it has such good shape and adds accent to a boring landscape.
